Maia’s Portfolio

Hi! My name is Maia Lemos and I’m a junior (3rd year) studying Computer Science and Media Arts at Northeastern University’s Khoury College.

My programming experience includes programming classes in highschool and as part of my major for the past two years and a previous co-op experience. I’ve learned a variety of languages in my courses – mostly java, but also HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I’ve learned Ruby and the Jekyll framework on my own, creating this portfolio website.

I’ve also completed several complex projects in my classes – including a maze generator/solver and an image processing application – but I have also started creating my own personal projects to further my learning in object-oriented concepts and web development.

Through my experience as a software engineer co-op in Spring 2023, I gained experience with SQL/SQLite, XML, android software development, and working in a professional setting.
